These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Muskoka Waterfront Retreat's Website, located at muskokawaterfrontretreat.com.

By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Muskoka Waterfront Retreat if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person log on this website and compliant to the Company's terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client's needs in respect of provision of the Company's stated services, in accordance with and subject to, the law. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to the same.

NON-SMOKING POLICY

Muskoka Waterfront Retreat is a non-smoking retreat. The full amount of the security deposit will be applied to the room bill of the registered guest should deep cleaning be required due to occupants smoking in the room.

GUARANTEE POLICY

A credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee the reservation. The registered guest responsible for the room must be at least 18 years of age and must provide a valid credit card in their name.

CHECK-IN POLICY

Check-In Time is 4pm
Check-Out Time is 10am

A minimum security deposit of $400 CAD will be pre-authorized on a credit card at check-in. The pre-authorization hold will be released at check-out, however, please be advised that it can take up to 10 business days for the funds to be cleared by the credit card financial institution. In the unlikely event that the room is willfully or negligently damaged, the deposit will be withheld in full and applied to all repair and replacements costs. Should the costs exceed the $400 deposit, the full cost will be applied to the pre-authorized credit card. Visa Debit cards and cash are not accepted.

PET POLICY

A single dog or cat under 20 lbs is permitted in a room as long as that pet is not left unattended at any time.

Muskoka Waterfront Retreat must be made aware of the accompanying pet at the time of booking. Should the reservation be made through an online booking channel, the hotel reservations team must be advised of the pet in writing, prior to the date of arrival. Failure to notify the hotel in writing prior to your arrival may result in the refusal of the pet at the time of check-in.

In the event that a complaint is received due to loud or excessive barking or noises, We reserve the right to remove the animal and/or the removal of all registered occupants of the room. A charge equivalent to the full amount of the security deposit may be assessed.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Reservations cancelled

• 30 days or more days prior to arrival, no charge will apply.

• Within 14 days, by 4pm EST, 50% of the reservation amount will be charged.

• Guests who do not arrive on the scheduled date of arrival and have not cancelled their reservation in advance will be charged the full amount of their reservation booked.

Change in the length or dates of the reservation may result in a rate change. Group reservations are subject to group cancellation guidelines.

Cancellation policies may vary. Final cancellation terms will be verified at the time of booking.

VIOLATION OF RULES AND BYLAWS

We reserve the right to assess a charge up to the total amount of the security deposit for the violation of any rules on the property based on local bylaws, including and not limited to, noise after hours.

License

Unless otherwise stated, Muskoka Waterfront Retreat and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on Muskoka Waterfront Retreat.

All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from Muskoka Waterfront Retreat for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

You must not:

Republish material from Muskoka Waterfront Retreat
Sell, rent or sub-license material from Muskoka Waterfront Retreat
Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from Muskoka Waterfront Retreat
Redistribute content from Muskoka Waterfront Retreat

This Agreement shall begin on the date hereof.
